How this planner decides

It checks your age and sex against one dated table of USPSTF grade A and B recommendations for adults (USPSTF A and B list). Items that depend on a risk factor, like lung cancer screening after heavy smoking, only appear when you tick that factor. If they match your age and sex but you did not tick the factor, they show under "Also ask your doctor about". Screenings for sexually transmitted infections, hepatitis B and latent tuberculosis always show there, because the planner does not ask about those risks. Read the full method. To prepare for the visit itself: questions to ask your doctor about screening.

It does not know your history, symptoms, or past results, so it cannot say when you are next due. Use it as a list to take to your doctor.
